Professor Mark W. Ashton
Professor Ashton is on Council for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery and is Director of the Taylor Laboratory within the Department of Anatomy at The University of Melbourne and has published over 200 articles in peer reviewed journals. Professor Ashton is the Course Chairman of the Melbourne Advanced Facial Anatomy Course ( MAFAC ) which teaches facial anatomy to Plastic Surgeons. He is a Board Member and Chairman of the Surgical Committee for Interplast, a not for profit charity providing reconstructive plastic surgery to 3rd world communities in the Asia Pacific region.
Professor Mark Ashton specialises in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery (such as breast augmentation surgery and revision, breast reconstruction surgery following cancer surgery and breast reduction) and facial aesthetic surgery.
